DERT Trailer Information
Trailers

Oklahoma Volunteers In Mission challenges each of the 12 districts in our Annual Conference to be prepared to send help immediately after a disaster strikes by acquiring, equipping, and maintaining a trailer that is ready to go with specially trained DERTs (Disaster Early Response Team) that are responding to disaster locally, nationally and internationally.

Since the Gulf Coast region hurricanes in our country, and the wildfires and tornados in Oklahoma, VIM has trained approximately 130 team leaders who are prepared to organize and lead ERTs.

Help your district purchase and equip a Disaster Response Trailer Trailers are designed to accompany a disaster response team. Most trailers are Tool Trailers that are equipped with a wide variety of tools and materials needed to conduct debris removal, tarp installation, muck-out, and construction. Contact your District Disaster Response Coordinator.

The total amount needed to buy and equip a ERT Trailer is approximately $10,000. Listed below are the guidelines and specifications for a ERT Trailer.
