Camp site descriptions

Camp Egan: Nestled on the banks of
Barren Fork Creek, 12 miles east of Tahlequah, in
northeastern Oklahoma, this is our oldest camp. Originally a
fishing camp, a gift from the late Jim Egan of Muskogee,
this facility has grown to a capacity of 300 campers.

| |
Canyon Camp: Located in the scenic
canyon section of western Oklahoma, south of Hinton, Canyon
Camp is an inspiration of foliage and dramatic red and
yellow canyon walls rising 75 feet above the canyon floor. A
gift by the late Lewis Miller of Enid, it accommodates 360
campers.

Cross Point Camp: Perched atop a
stunning point of land overlooking Lake Texoma, south of
Madill, Cross Point Camp offers the camper water sports and
a ropes course. A lighted Christian cross is visible across
the expanse of the lake. Cross Point Camp has a capacity of
220 campers.

Each of these spiritual
retreats provide an environment that allows campers to
listen and respond to God in ways that can be life-changing.
Each setting in its own way invites the camper to:
• Draw apart from daily endeavors for prayer, meditation,
faith instruction, and Bible Study;
• Receive guidance from devoted servant leaders for living
the Christian life;
• Consider his or her life’s vocation, and sometimes meet
the person who will be a life mate;
• Hear God’s call to ministry or full-time Christian
service;
• Make new and lifelong friends in a community of faith that
challenges, nurtures, and celebrates the camper’s special
relationship to a loving God;
• Return home with a greater sense of God’s redeeming grace
in Christ, and with renewed commitment as faithful disciples
of Christ, serving God in the world.
