Nuevo Progreso
Nuevo Progresso is a border town that was originally called Las Flores, which was the name of a local ranch. In 1933, the name of the city was changed to La Villa Nuevo Progreso, or Progreso. It is located seven miles south on F.M. 1015 and U.S. 281 east, and is a popular city for hosting U.S. visitors.
