Donations to the Oklahoma United Methodist Church for Disaster Response can be made by sending checks payable to Oklahoma Volunteers In Mission.
In the memo section write “Disaster Response 9016/335-14.”

Flood Buckets Contents
5-gallon plastic bucket with re-sealable lid
Bleach (two 1-quart or one 82 oz. bottle)
(5) scouring pads
(7) sponges
(1) scrub brush
(18) cleaning towels (reusable wipes)
50) clothes pins
(5) dust masks
(1) pair work gloves
(2) pair latex gloves
Liquid laundry detergent (two 25 oz. or one 50 oz. bottle)
(1) household cleaner, 12 -16 oz. bottle
Disinfectant dish soap, 16 - 28 oz. bottle
Clothes line (two 50 ft. or one 100 ft.)
24 ct. roll of heavy-duty trash bags, 33-45 gallon size (remove roll from box before placing in bucket)
(1) Insect repellant spray, 6-14 oz. can (if aerosol, cans must have protective caps)
(1) air freshener, 8 or 9 oz. can (if aerosol, cans must have protective caps.)Put all items in the plastic bucket and seal lid.
Please ensure that all cleansing agents are liquids (not powder) and in plastic bottles.
Flood Bucket Packing Instructions
Please follow the directions exactly. All emergency kits have been carefully planned to make them as usable as possible in the greatest number of situations.
1. Please note that all items included in kits must be NEW!
2. Please complete the packing list.
3. If the requested size item is not available, select the next smaller available size.
If an item is not available in the requested or smaller size, affix a masking tape label on the outside of the bucket saying, “This bucket contains no ____________________.”
4. It is important that kits contain only the items requested and nothing more.
Do not include any personal notes, money or additional materials.
Extra gifts, though given with the best of intentions, render a kit unusable and must be removed.
5. *Special requirements: Please ensure that all cleansing agents are liquids (not powder) and in plastic bottles.
