Small Churches are the Right Size and Different
Dr. David Ray is coming to the Oklahoma Conference in November to present a series of workshops designed especially for the small membership church!
For over thirty years, Dr. Ray has had a special affinity for and commitment to smaller churches. In addition to writing many articles, he published “Small Churches are the Right Size”(1982); “The Big Small Church Book” (1992); “Wonderful Worship in Smaller Churches” (2000); and “The Indispensable Guide for Smaller Churches”(2003).
This gifted minister consults with churches of all sizes and provides insight and leadership for small and rural church issues. He has served small member churches that have experienced serious and long-term decline, enabling their “significant growth in membership, participation, faithfulness and financial commitment.” He has a gift for helping the leaders of small membership churches to creatively work through their problems and find ways to bring faithful and effective ministry and mission home to their congregations.
