Project Transformation Internships
Dotted Line
Project Transformation is for motivated young people who have completed at least one year of college and are seeking to serve in urban communities of Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma. The interns work in teams of 6-7 to plan and manage an eight week summer day camp for elementary children. This constitutes leading programs in reading, computers, arts and crafts, music and theatre, field trips, and enrichment and recreational activities.  Friday mornings are reserved for exploration in various types of service and ministry opportunities.

Project Transformation interns are trained and actively serve as AmeriCorps members. Each intern will receive an education award and a living stipend.

Applicants should be interested in service, enjoy working with children and possess strong interpersonal skills that will aid them in working with children from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds as well as interacting with many adult volunteers.
