Online training tools for Local Church Leaders to enrich their skills for their ministry

United Methodist Communications offers many live training, online learning and do-it-yourself opportunities. Here are a few.

Training: United Methodism 101

is a free, basic online course designed for new United Methodists and anyone wanting to know more about the denomination, as well as long-time United Methodists who would like to check their basic knowledge of the church. Each of the four modules in this course contains many interactive features and takes about one hour to complete at the participant's leisure.

Training: Connectional Giving

The United Methodist Church is a connectional church. That means we can do more together than any one of us can do alone. Discover how United Methodists multiply the church's mission and ministry by scheduling and participating in a connectional giving workshop, taking the online course or sharing information and resources.

Web Ministry: Online Learning

Develop the skills you need and stay connected with others through instructor-led, facilitated and self-guided online courses, forums, blogs and social networking so you can create and maintain a dynamic Web ministry for your church, district or conference organization.
