UM-CAN, or the United Methodist Constituent Advocate Network, is a network of Oklahoma United Methodists who want to be informed and engaged on legislative and policy issues in our state, particularly those related to social justice.
Guided by our UM Social Principles, our vision for UM-CAN is to have at least one "Constituent-Advocate" in each legislative district, who will be a face and voice on issues from a UM perspective to their own legislators. UM-CAN is driven by E-mail and Web updates.
Advocacy training will be offered through the Conference Board of Church and Society.
