Legalize predatory internet gambling
Aides to Senator Harry Reidhave indicated he intends to push a rider during the present lame duck session to legalize predatory internet gambling. It is the equivalent of opening a casino in every home, office and dorm room twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
You can make a difference by making just three contacts today: please contact your two U.S. Senators and your U.S. Representative and call on them to defeat this bid to expand the most predatory business in America.

Please oppose all efforts during the present lame duck session to legalize internet gambling. It is the most predatory business in the nation which is why public opinion polls show that two out of three Americans oppose its legalization. It is one of the purest forms of predatory gambling for at least four reasons: the speed of the game, the frequency of play (gambling operators allow users to play multiple games at once), the intensity of the high or buzz people get when they play and the enormous amount of money people lose, all of which goes down twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. It is the equivalent of opening a Las Vegas casino in every home, office and dorm room in America.
