"My name is Debbie, and I am an active member of Redemption Church and have been for about 18 months.
I want to take this opportunity to let people know that I, along with several other inmates, appreciate the fact that CJAMM
and Redemption Church are here for us. Being a member of this church, I am an
active member. I serve on several committees, on the advisory council. I’m an
acolyte, help serve communion, a member of United Methodist Women, and I am an
active choir member. It’s an opportunity for me, as well as other inmates, to
interact with society again."

Redemption Kids
Once a week at Penn Ave/Redemption and St. Luke’s/Redemption, a Sunday School class is offered during worship for the children who have a parent in prison.
The child’s parent may be one of the worshipping participants at Redemption, or the child may be one we met through New Day Camp.
Others come from Exodus House and they have a parent that has just been released from prison.
