Back to God

is a new initiative for persons in recovery who realize that they must get back to GOD for guidance.

Back to God was the theme for the First Chemical Dependency Competencies Luncheon, that was held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Quayle UMC.

The Commission on Religion and Race (CORR) of the Oklahoma Conference of The United Methodist Church is concerned with the high rate of addiction in our communities and has joined with Addiction Ministries to help encourage neighborhood churches, learning centers, and institutions, to begin chemical dependency outreach.

The educational series is designed with a holistic approach in addressing the addiction issues with awareness, prevention, advocacy and recovery for the afflicted and those directly affected by addiction.
